Marketing Manager


Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity in ML/AI? Kaskada is looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager to lead marketing strategy and execution for our newly launched ML platform.

This role will be responsible for driving brand awareness and customer adoption from the ground up, by finding and engaging with data science communities, boosting the visibility of content marketing, and attracting, converting and nurturing qualified leads. The ideal candidate has experience building and executing digital marketing programs end-to-end and a passion for data science and machine learning space.

Objectives of this Role

  • Establish marketing strategy and programs to increase the visibility of the Kaskada brand and thought-leadership content in the data science and data engineering communities.
  • Test and optimize marketing tactics for customer acquisition (e.g. online advertising, social, partnerships and affiliate, etc) and conversion rate optimization
  • Partner with our Community Data Science Lead to create content calendars and to increase discoverability of content
  • Run targeted search and social advertising campaigns, experimenting and optimizing results within budget. 
  • Create and maintain analytics and reporting across all marketing channels, extract insights, and develop proposals to continually improve our tactics
  • Design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.
  • Conduct and present competitive analyses and market research
  • Think outside the box and propose creative new projects to attract prospects and convert leads
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and changes in data science and machine learning

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B software marketing roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills paired with a metrics-driven mindset
  • Experience with marketing automation, web analytics, and CRM tools
  • High standards of excellence and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain expertise in data science and/or machine learning
  • Proficiency with online advertising and social media strategy
  • Established press and media contacts
  • Experience with working at startups or in fast-paced, high ownership environments
